Why is this interesting?

This stone procurement site is the most significant of six Aboriginal quarries in the Gungahlin district due to its complete and undisturbed nature as well as the range and density of artefact types that were found here. It is an offence under the Heritage Act 2004 to remove any artefacts from the site.
